PostHeaderIcon It Is Link Text and Page Rank that Have the Biggest Influence on Rankings

Have you been looking to improve the rankings on your web page, but have been unsuccessful? If so, do not be alarmed, for many people find difficulty in improving the rankings of their web page. Be this as it may, having a high ranking is very important to the success of your web page. If your web page is promoting a specific product or service, then you should aim to have the highest ranking as possible. But how can this be done? The secret to influencing rankings is link text and page rank.

When people go onto a search engine, searching for something similar to the product or service on your web page, chances are that your website will pop up in their search. However, the location of where your website will pop up is the main concern. When people search for something on a search engine, they typically look at the first few suggested websites and choose one of those to view. If your website does not show up on their search until the end of the page of suggested sites, or worse—on a separate page, then the chances of the person choosing your website to view is slim to none. Therefore, you must strive to make your website one of the first suggested sites that will pop up when someone searches for a product or service similar to yours.

But how can I ensure that my website is one of the first suggested sites that will pop up, you may be wondering? Well, there are many methods and techniques one can use to do this; however, some methods prove to be better than others. The best way to do this would be by using link text and page rank. But what are those? Well, page rank is the rank of your web page. The higher it is ranked, the more traffic it will attract, and the more successful your company will be. Link text is another story…

Link text is the act of linking text into your content that will allow the potential customer to breeze through your website and find what they are looking for quickly and easily. If they have to spend a great deal of time merely trying to find the information they were looking for then they are likely to become fed up with your website and take their business elsewhere. However, if the link text is noticeable and helpful, the site visitors will be more likely to stick around and learn what your product or service is all about. In order to successfully incorporate link text into your web page content, you must make the link text stand out. You can do this by changing the color of your link text to something different from the rest of the content, and/or you could underline the link text.

Whatever you choose to do, just make sure the link text is eye catching and stands out. The link text can make or break your content so you should also think deeply about what your link text should contain. It should obviously pertain to the topic of your content, but should also be beneficial to the potential customers and leave them wanting more. If you can achieve this, then you can achieve higher rankings.
